Welcome to new subscribers to our e-newsletter. The staff and family support team at NOFASD Australia understand the feelings of isolation sometimes experienced by families living withFASD. Whilst we are unable to provide direct assistance such as treatment or legal services we do provide confidential telephone and email support to individuals living with FASD and their parents, carers, family members & service providers. If you are seeking referral information to diagnostic and related supports throughout the country or would like the opportunity to share your experience or concerns with our staff or family support person please contact us on 1300 306 238 or email enquiries@nofasd.org.au.

The FASD Research Australia CRE Community Reference Group are seeking community members (parents, pregnant or planning a family, carers, grandparents, as well as people with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder and their parents/carers) who are interested in joining a national group to have a say about future research programs in the following areas:

  • the risks of alcohol consumption in pregnancy
  • resources to support decisions related to drinking or not drinking alcohol during pregnancy
  • effective treatment for people living with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder
