People with FASD can (and do) succeed in education and training beyond high school/secondary school, when the right support and accommodations are applied. Whilst tertiary education may include university and polytechnics, this also includes any learning after secondary school – from building sites to farms.

The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower lanyard scheme is an initiative designed to act as a discreet sign that somebody has a hidden disability and requires additional assistance while out in public.

If you are attending one of the locations listed below, wear the Sunflower to highlight that you have a non-visible disability discreetly and to enable others to recognise that you may need some extra time, care or patience. For students with hidden disabilities, Sunflower products can be obtained from the diversity and inclusion team at each School, College or University:
