Brain Injury SA are hosting a Brain Injury Awareness Week Launch on Monday 20th August at Adelaide Oval. This should be a memorable event, hosted by much-loved South Australian Amanda Blair, with an entertaining and informative line-up of speakers including people with lived experienced of Acquired Brain Injury (ABI). The event will conclude with a morning tea. Brain Injury Awareness Week is a significant time for people living with an ABI, their families and carers, and the organisations that work to support them.
The Brain Injury Awareness Week launch will be held from 10am to 12 noon on Monday 20th August in the John Halbert Room, Adelaide Oval. Brain Injury SA will also announce their award winners. The Service Excellence Award recognises an individual who has made a significant, tangible and extraordinary contribution to people living with ABI, and the Outstanding Achievement Award recognises an individual with Acquired Brain Injury who has accomplished specific and important goals in their own personal journey during the past 12 months.
