FASD Awareness Month 2026

This September: Everyone Plays a Part

It takes a community to raise awareness of FASD.

FASD Awareness Month 2026 is an opportunity for individuals, families, workplaces, organisations and communities across Australia to come together to raise awareness and understanding of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD).

This September NOFASD Australia is joining with our colleagues at CanFASD in Canada to celebrate FASD Awareness Month under the shared theme “Everyone plays a part: it takes a community”.

The theme acknowledges that we can all make a difference – whether our contribution is large or small. Every touchpoint, every conversation, every time accurate information is shared about FASD (either in person or online) awareness and understanding of this lifelong disability will increase and those impacted by FASD will feel less alone.
