NOFASD Australia was represented at the 2025 APSAD Conference, where CEO Sophie Harrington will attend as part of the planning committee for the Special Interest Day and contribute to a symposium presentation led by the Every Moment Matters campaign team.

Presentation:

Every Moment Matters: Impacts of Australia’s first national campaign to raise awareness of the harms of alcohol use in pregnancy and breastfeeding
Monday 10 November 2025 | 11:15 AM – 12:00 PM
Session 1E – Symposium

This presentation will share outcomes and insights from Australia’s first national public health campaign addressing alcohol use in pregnancy and breastfeeding, examining its reach, engagement, and influence on public understanding and behaviour.

The APSAD 2025 Conference theme, “Disrupting & Deconstructing approaches to drug policy, research and practice,” invites delegates to challenge assumptions and explore new ways of integrating First Nations leadership, cultural safety, and justice-informed practice into AOD prevention and policy reform.
