NOFASD Australia will be presenting at the AddictionZ Conference, held 27–28 May 2026 at the RACV Royal Pines Resort, Gold Coast, Queensland.
Our in‑person workshop, FASD‑Informed Practice: Empowering the AOD Workforce Through Interactive Online Training, will be co‑presented by Simone McKenry (NOFASD Australia) and James Dunne (Australian Alcohol and Other Drugs Council). The session introduces NOFASD’s AOD Online Training and shares practical, evidence‑based strategies to support people living with FASD within alcohol and other drug (AOD) services.
Through interactive case studies and discussion, participants will explore how FASD‑informed, neurodiversity‑aware approaches can strengthen engagement, assessment and treatment planning across diverse AOD contexts.
